Dharma
By intentionally stripping away color and infusing each frame with heavy, tactile film grain, this collection transforms original color captures into timeless, atmospheric studies of faith. The added texture and high-contrast monochrome conversion strip away modern distractions, turning everyday moments of Tibetan pilgrimage—folded hands, spinning prayer wheels, and weathered faces—into raw, quiet expressions of enduring devotion. Bagan
Overlooking the ancient plains of Bagan, Myanmar, this series transforms misty dawns into a study of form, scale, and timeless atmosphere. Originally captured in color, the images were intentionally flattened into low-contrast monochrome with fine film grain, echoing vintage archival prints.18 images
Saffron
As dawn breaks across Southeast Asia, Buddhist monks walk barefoot through the streets in the sacred morning ritual of Tak Bat. Capturing both intimate close-ups and sweeping processions, this series uses vivid saffron tones, gentle motion blur, and tight abstractions of robes and alms bowls to transform strict event documentation into a serene study of movement, humility, and enduring spiritual grace.28 images

Deep within the toxic, sulfurous rim of East Java’s Kawah Ijen crater, a harrowing daily routine unfolds far from the sight of the modern world. This documentary series provides an intimate look into the lives of Indonesia’s sulfur miners—men who haul crushing loads of raw, bright-yellow elemental sulfur up steep, rocky tracks and out of an active volcanic crater under grueling conditions.17 images
